Is this depression?

Someone in your world loves you, you may not feel like it, but there are always people who care. Yes, it sounds like you're depressed, but have a variety of other things going on. The first thing you should do is go easier on yourself. The second thing is start working on exercising and then the weight will come off. Learn what good nutrition is and how to keep your thyroid in check (if that's possible with or without medication). Use your depression time to learn more about your health, use it towards doing something positive instead of spiraling. By doing that you'll be taking your mind off the negative. Don't push yourself to do too much, slow and steady wins the race. For example, for today, I'd like you to walk around your block. Or, walk halfway and walk back. Or to a local park, you get the idea. Just some where OUT of your bedroom. Look around, smell the air, listen to the birds sing, look at the flowers. Feel it, that you are alive, that you CAN do this! This thing called life, you're going to do this and not get taken down today because you love yourself. Say you love yourself at least once today. Even if you might not believe it right now. Do it for me, an Internet stranger who is reaching out and who cares how you feel. Try that "assignment" and check in with me later and tell me how it went. You have a good day!!!
