Derealization and anxiety , advice please

Hey friend, I’ve been where you are so I know how jarring it can be. I had a bad DMT trip that left me feeling pretty out of touch for about a year. I too have thoughts about reality being fragile (and it really doesn’t help when you have psychedelic flash backs), they used to really bother me and cause lots of anxiety but now I accept them.

For me to accept my newfound understanding (or lack thereof) of reality I needed to ground myself. I found hypnotherapy to be a great tool, it’s like a guided meditation but a bit deeper and has lasting effects. Michael Sealey is wonderful and you can find his stuff on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.

While you are the only one who can change your thinking patterns and psyche, therapy can help give you the tools to do so. I personally didn’t go to therapy but if you feel it may help you then there’s no harm in trying it.

Don’t stress about what caused this shift in thinking and live in the present instead. That being said, psychedelics and/or liquor just might not be for you, if your keen on trying them again at least wait until you’re mentally stable again. You’ve got this! ❤️
