Derrick Rose: "I love Chicago, and I still love the Bulls.”

The only thing that frustrated me about Rose is that he seemed a bit delusional about the future of his career. He still felt like he was a superstar and was expecting to be paid as such. In hindsight, it's completely understandable for someone who has played basketball at the highest level all his life, the youngest MVP of all time, to have that belief in himself. I just didn't want the Bulls to overpay a player who hadn't looked like the same after the injuries, and still seemed very injury prone. I never stopped loving him as a player and person.

His mentality/perspective seems to have changed a lot recently, and I was so happy to see him succeed on the Timberwolves. I would love to have him back in a similar role he played for the Wolves. At the same time, if he gets a big offer from a team or wants to play for a contender I would completely support his decision. I will always root for the guy.
