Des citoyens en ont assez des cowboys du déneigement

I've worked in other provinces and Quebec really stands out for this kind of behavior. Contractors are crooked. Government is crooked. There's very little integrity here.

This has been my experience as well, health and safety standards are lax and not very well enforced, cutting corners to save money while risking both employee and customer safety is standard business here in Quebec. From what I've heard, it's just as bad in Ontario. Most of my work experience is here in Quebec, with 5 years in British Columbia, where safety and environmental standards were enforced, so were labour standards. Bullying was almost non-existent, I didn't see any financial corruption at all despite working for a dozen different companies, multiniationals included.

I'm sure there is corruption in BC, but there seems to be an agreement that basic health and safety standards and polite business etiquette need to be met. Like.. steal all you want, but make sure your wage slaves are relatively well cared for. :/ Whereas in Quebec and Ontario, companies love to remind their employees how disposable they are and squeeze them for every ounce of labour and belittle them at every opportunity.

TLDR: Indeed. Lots of bad morale and bad faith in the east coast work place and business environment.
