They KNOW the NFL Doesn't give a shit at all, unless it hits the brand and/or the bottom line.

They are slightly optimistic the NFL will dish out some beatdown, this one time, because it may affect these two things. Most common opinion here is "They won't do shit because he throw ball too good." by A Wide Margin.

(IMO dude shouldn't see the field again, He should do Hard Time. The Victims should get that Sweet Guaranteed 230m payout courtesy the Browns and the NFL. It should also count against the Cap. Set a Precedent, They did Due Diligence, right?)
