Desperate for advice on eating like a normal person

My kid really liked bananas or avocado mashed up with a fork, applesauce, and plain overcooked pasta. When they were a bit older, they legitimately loved a piece of bread cut into strips. Your baby doesn’t know if your a good cook or not. He has nothing else to compare it to. Most things you give him for the first time he’ll enjoy

I let myself eat as much of my safe foods as possible when I’m experiencing severe burnout, and slowly try to expand to other bland standbys, and wait until my desire for other foods come back. If I try to cook during these periods, I end up hungry with a fridge full of rotten food I was too depressed to cook.

I order groceries delivered to my home and set up a weekly repeat delivery list until I’m well enough to go to the store again.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, it sounds terrible.
