This is arguable, police violence towards a black victim is most likely going to be primarily motivated by racism. The article does not state this as fact. Destiny sates his opposition to a claim that was never made as fact though.
What you "Think" he was saying there bears no relevance to a repeated history of sensationalizing black issues and doing it again here. Address what he said, not what you think he said.
The broader point you just made that no one argued agaisnt, is something Van Jones understands and has talked about on his show, and every black person also understands this. This has nothing to do with what Destiny said.
