The whole thing just reminded me of "We gotta get it right".
I'm not buying it, acknowledging that you guys fucked up, yeah that's a good start. But I don't see really any of the core issues with the expac dealt with in 6.2, there's a couple of changes coming down that are improvements, but nothing big. The classes are all still hot garbage that play the same and don't feel fun, the world at large is barren, garrisons play way too big a part in everything while still not giving us shit to do with 'em.
I cancelled my sub a few months ago, coasted on gold for one month, then just let it fall off. I won't be back for 6.2 cause frankly, I just don't see it solving anything that's truly awful about this expac.

What feels the most insulting is; It's a 10 year old game, they brought their A-game with marketing, harkening back to TBC era, OH SHIT REMEMBER TBC GUYS? They were showing off clips of the '27 Yankees', the Murderers' Row. Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Earle Combs, Waite Hoyt, Grom Hellscream, showed clips of them killin' it in the park. So we all bought tickets (At increased price) to see the great old team back together, paid extra to get that TBC edge back.
Then we took our seats, then for 5 days we watched a bunch of goofballs tripping over the field rakes and getting rolled up in the field tarp. But hey, they apologized and shit happens, so ok, on with the show! Then we were treated to a sweet warm-up of the Row coming out, practicing their at-bats and throwing warm-up pitches in the bullpen. Oh fuck this is great, GREAT!
And then the team was ushered off and replaced by the baseball equivalent of The Little Giants. Now we're getting told the beer will be colder after this patch and the hot dogs juicier, so keep subscribing! And finally we're told "Well folks...The '27 Yankees were tired and didn't feel like playing this time, but they'll totally be here next time! So be sure to buy your tickets then cause there'll be a great game sometime next season!"
