No, not lots of people, the vast majority of people. 88%, evidently. Actually, 100% or damn close to it because MPers also play single player.

In the absence of your hypothetical situation actually happening (which it is obviously not), or any other game breaking bugs, one would logically hope for improvements that make everybody's experience better. Especially improvements that the community has been loud and vocal about, that many feel aren't getting the attention deserved because the perception is that they're trying to cater to 12% of the playerbase.

I'm not one of those people, I have sympathy for the devs on this one. However, if I was a dev, and saw those statistics, you better believe I'd be working the most glaring reported issue among the vast majority of my playerbase.

It seems like a perfectly obvious conclusion to make to me, I'm not sure how introducing a false hypothetical changes that. It certainly did not make the conclusion that it's a good idea to improve the experience of 88% of the playerbase seem nonsensical.
