Dude I was trying to be facetious but if you're going to be condescending and attack me for it here goes....

"America" is an entire hemisphere, but you'd know that if you got out there and explored the unknown. If you're talking about the United States specifically...due to financial reasons I'm able to go on vacation to another country about once every 3 or 4 years. Most of my trips so far have been to europe but I'm trying to visit south america asap. As for why more people don't travel idk, I try not to speak for others, perhaps there's a lesson there.

I get that a lot of US Citizens are jingoistic assholes but don't lump us all in together. We aren't all 'Murica shouting, wall building dickheads; some of us are genuinely interested in learning about other cultures. I didn't know the sign was originally for peso's, thanks for the truth bomb, I love little factoids like that.
