I'm really confused why you're so convinced that the character designs are inspired by the MCU.

Again, I'm mostly talking about the characters they conveniently picked who happen to be the MCU lineup-- that being said, their design for Bruce is clearly inspired by Mark Ruffalo in Avengers 1. And they didn't even bother to give Thor a helmet like the MCU.

The fact of the matter remains that of course they were gonna pick the most popular characters, the masses are going to want to play who they know.

The fact that you guys who are defending Square keep saying this-- for the billionth time-- it just contradicts all of your feelings, including the devs, about this game "being its own thing".

You can't have it both ways. You guys are telling everyone "its not the MCU characters, get over it"... but, it IS the MCU characters. How can you blame fans for making MCU comparisons, when it looks like the MCU?
