Di Maria calling Michael Oliver "Hijo de Puta"

No problem, it's nice to actually discuss it rather than it getting heavily downvoted for daring to counter the /r/soccer circlejerk.

It's a huge problem with English football, and has been for a while now. It's also a perpetuating problem as well - the support of the archetype working class fan made the game what it was, propelling the sport into the limelight and in essence making everyone in the country start caring about football. This meant a huge following in watching games, which got the TV companies interested. The exposure on TV then brought along a new type of fan, who wants to go to the game and sit and watch their team in a comfy seat and have their prawn sandwich and glass of champagne at half time. Meanwhile the working class fan has been continually priced out, as huge demand for the game has led to almost every team in the prem selling out most games, which sent ticket prices up. So now we have deathly-silent stadiums, full of tourists and rich people, alot of whom to the game to see the level of support that they themselves have ousted from the sport. The Etihad hasn't been the same in the last couple of years. The emirates is, frankly, embarassing in terms of home support the numerous times I've been there. Old Trafford became a joke a long time ago (although to be fair, the chopping and changing of managers has led to the fans suddenly finding their voice, so fair play to them). And recently I've heard quite a large number of complaints about Anfield from Liverpool fans who are getting disillusioned with going to the game. Such a shame that this is the way its going, and I hope it resolves itself soon. The only way I can see that happening is if safe-sanding is introduced. I simply cannot believe it hasnt been pushed through parliament yet. Absolute dinosaurs who believe a rail every two steps is somehow more dangerous than fans toppling over seats in front of them every time a goal goes in. Fucking idiots.
