Yes what you did might of been wrong and could of been done without physical implications. Yet you guys are being too harsh on him, he’s said they’ve known each other so long their practically siblings.. you can’t tell me people in this population haven’t jokingly or even aggressively hit their “sibling” before. If the child had a problem with it or was hurt they should tell someone or the family can just ask him to stop, not accuse him of abuse and isolate him from the family.

Children can sometimes be sensitive, however we don’t know the full story. My brother was accused of hurting a child before when the kid was consent-fully playfully play fighting.. my brother was beaten/punished for something he didn’t even do, it’s not always abuse people.
