Did anyone else fall in love with Linden, like, really bad?

Im currently binge watching, on S2E11 right now. I guess Im in the minority, but I can NOT stand her.

At first I thought she was pretty dope, strong, thick skinned woman who made something of herself after coming from a shitty background. She was the type of cop I would want handling my case if I was caught in a bad way, the kind that really cares about the people she is helping.

Then it all started falling apart, and not because of typical flaws that make a character more relatable. At this point I think that her character has been written so poorly that I feel like she is a huge fat phoney.

First, everytime someone says something she doesnt like, she throws a tantrum like a damn 3 year old. How many times is she going to stop a car in the middle of the road and get out to storm off or to make Holder get out and walk?? Jesus Immature Christ. Grow up Linden. Shit, Holder might not have a filter, but he isnt malicious, if anything he genuinely cares, but Linden is such a whiner that she over reacts to everything. Its as if EVERYTHING is too touchy and she just shuts down instead of handling things like an adult. Strength means doing what needs to be done, regardless of the ease of task or what else is going on.

On that note, what the hell is up with her neglecting the shit out of her son, and then getting upset when hllis dad wants custody??? At least he has 1 parent who is looking after his best interest. All the back and forth about Sonoma, the instability in the kids living situation, leaving him on his own all damn day. At some point she should have been strong enough to say that she didnt have the means to do right by both Rosie AND Jack and let one of them be taken care of by someone else. Even if she chose Rosie, she could have said "Hey, Im gonna see if Jacks dad wont watch him for a month or so, that way I can take care of this case," or SOMETHING, instead of keeping him in inadequate and sometimes dangerous situations.

I really hope something happens in the next two seasons to redeem the character. To me it isnt that she is flawed, its that she is poorly written. Like they tried to write her strong but flawed, but they made her weak but acts tough.

I did really like how she played Chief Jackson with the key card after they got the warrents. I really want to like her, but she makes it hard. She would be a 10 if she could get her shit together.
