Did anyone else notice this about Steven?

I noticed that too. I actually felt that his natural demeanor is quite surprisingly calm? Look at the all the highs and lows... he always holds quite a similar demeanor, almost as if he has emotional control beyond what you'd expect from someone with his looks, lifestyle...etc (not trying to sounds judgmental, just saying). Even when he was released after 18 years. He's all smiles, but when he's asked questions, it's that same calm tone. Throughout the series I would sometimes question the timeline between the audio/video, he just always sounds the same to me. One random thing I feel like stands out is when he was being interviewed after his release, he was holding a baby and he said " I don't even know who's baby this is!" and sorta chuckles. Probably the highest on the scale of positive emotions showing face I've see of him. When he is interrogated about Teresa, he's a little more emotional for obvious reasons but still, the way he carries himself and speaks...seems so calm (and honest if I might add...just my feeling). It's very surprising and somewhat strange though. Considering one might have quite an extreme emotional intolerance to being accused, (again?!) of something you didn't do knowing the severity of the consequences of that "guilty" word and surely having some post-traumatic stress lingering from the first go. Personally, I would have flipped my shit completely. But he doesn't. He simply asserts his innocence repeatedly without getting infuriated. Answers questions honestly in my opinion. Answering "I don't know" or "I didn't do anything" is actually interesting when you think about it. Think of a time maybe you said I don't know but you did...not easy to do as fake-honest as possible. SA however, when he says I don't know, several times, really seems genuine. Like he really doesn't know. Maybe it's just me but I always feels like when someone says I don't know I can tell when they are lying. Can you?
