So glad I went to do this on the 16th. The 16th was the first day I could make it to the gamestop across from work to do the pre order. I would have done it sooner. It does suck for people that did want it on one cart as dealing with Nintendo eshop is pure shit and it is locked to your system. If you have 2 systems you play on you are shit out of luck :(. Gamestop pulled the same shit with me and the steam controller, they even told me that one was available early to go pick it up and it was not actually in the store. Even the online system said it was ready. Gamestop corporate did jack shit all and is filled for of incompetent abortions of marketing dick weeds. Not much you can do as I am sure they have legal text that says fuck you on pre orders as they mean it does not guarantee a copy. The reason I keep going back though is since Amazon in my area has gotten very bad about shipping on time or the correct thing, I am stuck with in game pre orders if I want it even the week, let alone the day of a game release. Btw back in the 360 days I lived in a different area and the gamestop sold my pre ordered copy of eternal sonata. The store had only been open on the release day for 30 mins when I tried to get my copy. The person that bought it did not even have a pre order. I got livid to say the least to thew point the stupid manager that said pre orders are not guaranteed started crying. This got to the point the district manager had to come in and deal with it. At least I got the game for free and all the face plates available for the 360 when that came out as no one else pre ordered it. Got a letter later with a $50 gs gift card saying sorry again. But this was years ago.
