Chapter 2 is very early in the game, but no game is for everyone. It's arguably the most beautiful open world I've ever seen in a video game, but the gameplay and story weren't for me. I personally wanted an open sandbox with very little direction, as I didn't care about any of the characters, so the missions felt like a task to do to unlock the things I wanted to use while just bumming around a beautiful open world.

It's a fantastic game though, just not for me, and maybe not for you. However, with that said, I would encourage you to try a little bit longer. No point in forcing yourself just because it's a (well deserved) very highly rated game, but chapter 2 is a little too early to call it, in my opinion.
