The functionality and convenience that my phone provides is far outweighed by the sustinence that my vehicle provides.

My phone won’t get me to work. It won’t help me buy groceries. While I may be able to communicate with a phone, without a vehicle I am otherwise isolated.

The value that one places on the cellular actions you cited is a purely a subjective matter. Everything you listed can be performed without a cell phone. I think it’s ironic that you excluded the one thing you cannot do without a cell phone, namely communicate with other people.

I can survive without a phone. I can’t survive without a car. Suffice to say, I strongly disagree with your point of view.
