Why did you decide to stay single?

I know it's late but, I'm focusing only myself now and proactively working towards what I really want in life, I don't want to feel restricted or feel like I need to chose between the two. I fully understand that relationships take a lot of work, you're sharing life's journey with one another and I don't think I am willing to share this part of my life with anyone at the moment.

I'm happy single and plus, I am still getting over a traumatic incident that happened to me when I was 15. Sure I get criticized because "time is going to run out" or "but you need to get married!". No, I know now what I want and I don't want anyone else getting in between, even romance. Casual flings are the best for now and don't require much commitment.
