Does anyone remember the dishwasher detergent "Finish"?

Anyone remember the little "Powerball" in the center of each tablet being a blue-grey color before it was red?

I never had cable at my house growing up, so I watched a lot of cable TV at my grandparents, mostly Cartoon Network. Some time around 2007-2010 I vividly remember seeing a lot of annoying commercials for Finish, but with a blue-grey ball in the center instead of a red one. I even got in trouble with my mom for unwrapping one to try to take out the blue-grey ball from the tablet.

I distinctly remember another commercial about a year later that talked about how Finish was "upgrading" from a blue-grey ball to the "new improved" red "powerball", and it went into detail on why it was better than the old ball.

What really has me concerned is how I can't find any pictures or commercials of the product with its original power ball, or the commercial that showed the transition from blue-grey to red. I remember these commercials being on ALL THE TIME. They were burnt into my memory. Now I'm just very confused. Was this product originally not red, or am I actually on to something here?
