Why did god give people dyslexia and learning disabilities if he wants everyone to read the scriptures?

The way people are talking about dyslexia in this thread is insulting and down right unconscious discrimination.

I have dyslexia and I see it as a blessing from God, not something that needs to be fixed. To call it something that needs to be fixed is crazy.

Dyslexic people were thriving before the industrial revolution. It was humans who made it something bad by creating a society that excludes a huge portion of society. This has only been a problem in the last 200 years or so.

We need dyslexic people out there. Society would crumble without this healthy mix of people.

And yes, it is important to God. He would not have created it if it wasn't.
