Did Hermione ever meet her parents again after obliviating them?

I've always hated how books with children/teenagers as main characters treat adults as though they're incompetent morons. Did she need to obliviate her parents? Did Harry need to protect Sirius and Hagrid at every turn? Did they need to constantly assume that they knew better than every single adult in existence based on nothing but their half-baked notions or assumptions which usually spawned from incomplete or unreliable information, even when that adult is freaking Albus Dumbledore? Probably not.

Seriously, what kind of person holds the option 'talk to parents about going into hiding' in one hand and 'mind control parents into forgetting their entire existence, effectively deleting their entire lives so that I can go adventuring without worrying' in the other and picks the latter without blinking.
