Did Lance Stephenson screw himself over by leaving the Indiana Pacers or does he still have a chance to redeem himself?

And how was Doc been trying to play him? This seems to be the season of Doc playing people outside of their natural positions. Josh at Center, Lance at 3. I even saw Lance and Wes in playing power forward. WTF is going on.

Lance should have been backup PG for that first third of the season, but he gave it to Austin despite Austin being a terrible PG. Austin should be a 2. And he has been playing much better as a 2.

And another problem with all the casual Clipper fans saying "everything is great, we are on a 9 game win streak, don't change anything": have you looked at the teams we have been playing?

Lakers, injured Jazz, Wizards, 76ers, injured Hornets, trail blazers, injured pelicans.

Not exactly convincing for solid rotations. We have not beaten a legit contender yet. Our real competition is OKC, Warriors, Spurs. IIRC, we haven't beaten one of them in the reg season. The only thing I can say is that we did this all without Blake, but the starters have never been our problem. Our problem was always the bench.

Cole and Prigs are great upgrades. But we are not done improving this bench. EVERYONE (including Doc) on that "everything is fine as long as we are winning" train is just clueless. This bench is not going to get us past the second round. Both the Warriors and the Spurs are superior at this point.

Never stop improving. This is getting close to the end of when you should be experimenting with lineups, and Doc has NEVER played Josh and Cole together. You don't think that is negligent as a coach? Not one game, not in garbage time...

If Doc had not been forced to play Prigs and Cole in the OKC game, we would still be running an Austin/Jamal second unit. He needs to at least try it.
