Did you like the community when Go was first released or do you like it better now with people who actually love pokemon.

I prefer the old but mostly because the community in my area is crap. When pokemon was first released I didn't notice the community much as we (my son and I) were focused on exploring stuff and filling our Pokédex. We couldn't do anything with gyms as it was blue towers only which were rebuild within minutes after taking an hour to tear down. No one in sight. But once we moved past that, it was a nice way to spend time.

Right now we are forced into the community in our town. And frankly, it sucks and most people are dicks. When raids came out, people actually showed up. But within months, people started spoofing as the 'weather wasn't nice enough'. Also, people started showing up with three phones... Still mostly blue so we had to take gyms to even stand a chance of catching legendaries as consistently getting five or six balls just because you are the only instinct players sucks. That led to a lot of numbering and the mystics started spoofing the gyms and filling out with their multi accounts. When autumn came, people physically attending raids stopped altogether. So now we are stuck in having to go to another town to have a shot at legendaries. Not something I want to do in this game. I just want to go around and complete the Pokédex. We don't care if it was going to be hard, but we would at least liked to have a shot. I really don't like being forced into a game of driving around and hoping you meet enough people at a gym to all stare at your phone whilst tapping vigorously.
