Why did new Labour allow such high levels of immigration?

Why do you think all this is a product of leadership rather than society? Do you believe our political leaders have that much of a sway over societal mores?

Society is shaped by the sense of morality and laws imposed upon it by the government. When social shaming was around, women were less likely to be sluts. That's just one extreme example. When being a deadbeat dad who didn't provide was shamed, more men were willing to stick around. When a failing marriage was seen as a bad thing, more couples were willing to talk things through. When murder is made illegal, less people kill others. Morality can be and is shaped by

The lack of national duty and national pride is due to the improvements in communication and accessible travel. For lots of british youth, they feel more affinity with Berlin and Barcelona than Bolton, and the generation who are currently in their early teens live through a medium which has no national borders. How does national pride and duty make sense in that context? And how would a strong leader change that?

This is just your opinion, as is my opinion just an opinion. I agree a lot of British youth do feel such a way. I'm not telling them they must feel a certain way. I also would not force them to remain in a more nationalist, traditionalist or conservative Britain. They would be free to go to other liberal countries if they so desired. People leave one type of society/country for another type all the time.

Your ideas are skirting close to fascism

Fascism is control by dictat, not by an actual conservative social and judicial framework. At least know what you're talking about from a psychological and philosophical perspective before you make such assertions.

A fascist is generally insecure. A fascist has the same psychological outlook as a controlling boyfriend. When his girlfriend tries to leave, he does everything to try to make her stay and control her and the situation. I am not going to force people via fear to stay in a conservative traditionalist society. If they wish to opt out, I will wish them all the best as they go on their way. It's a trade-off.

Why do you think Putin makes his competition disappear or kills them off? Because he's insecure that if they spoke out in such a way about him, his vulnerabilities and capabilities as a leader, would be exposed and he's insecure as hell about those truths coming out, so he silences them. He NEEDS to control everything. The same as Kim Jong-un needs to control and force people to stay in North Korea. These are not men. They are overgrown children with emotional issues.
