old thread again, but I believe tilda mentoined that verbana was a Zenith that didn't earn her way to becoming a zenith and was essentially a legacy. It could be reasoned that the other zeniths either thought she was dumb enough to drop her shield (by getting tricked or otherwise) or they simply were happy she was gone and regardless of what happened, they thought they were too smart to face a similiar fate.

Agreed that it is a bit of a plot hole. Even if the Zeniths had no idea that they had the tech to break their shields they should know enough about their shields to know their weaknesses and at the very least suspect that when Nemesis sent the signal they might have included information to help Hades destroy them.

All that said, a text data point that gave insight about this near the final boss fight would have been nice.
