Found an open letter from the doctors by accident saying she failed some mental health tests and had missed her next appointment.

I panicked a little bit but brought myself together and decided to approach her about it as I knew she'd been struggling with her job but hadn't given me any indication of how bad the situation was. (worth noting we didn't live together but were at the point of talking about it.)

Safe to say she freaked that I had found out. I said not to worry, that i'd help her and to trust me. But for some reason she didn't.

Over the next 2 months she fell apart. Quit her job, got evicted, revealed to me she had been lying about her finances and was heavily in debt. I found out her previous boyfriend had also had a similar experience of her lying about money.

It just got to the point that while I was asking her to trust me to help that as time went on I trusted her less and less and it got to the point where I was worried whenever she was on her own and starting to become depressed myself. So in the end I had to call it quits.
