Didn’t get accepted, help?

Please, please, please don't think of BYU-I as the rejection school. Having studied there and knowing others who have gone to both schools, trust me when I say they are both such precious places.

I know at first it feels like a complete gut wrench to have your life's vision unexpectedly redirected, but please don't let this disappointment keep you from seeing the beauty in a different direction. You have no idea what good this new path may lead you to, or for all you know what bad it may have spared you from. I like to remember that Heavenly Father is constantly giving us our best possible chances at success, he never just throws in the towel and gives up on us or adjusts our destiny to 2nd place. He knows of an infinite variety of ways to lead you to the end He has planned for you. If He takes you somewhere unexpected, you can rest assured knowing that there is potential for only greater blessings along that path, specific to you.

All the best :)

(P.S My brother who chose Idaho instead of Provo calls Idaho a diamond in the rough. Sometimes the most humble places can house the greatest treasures!)
