to Liyun Cool - that video was perfect. The internet + history + culture = awesome. I have long been a student of the game of chess, albeit a poor one, and with my new freedoms i have found time to study it more - including it's unknown origens. the game is visually very yin and yang and is white v black - but i think you can see it as more of allegory for the universe as played by one god who makes the only moves as his yin and yang dance through eternity. i don't know where i came up with that, but it's fun to think about - in a lot of dimensions.
so i have opinions now as to most each important "square", but i was wondering if had any interest in sharing your thoughts on the I Ching? = "i the god" or "i man" ?

that's a great idea - quit that job and then you can do fun internet things with me. i have a protocol level submission to w3c that i should be doing instead of chess if that's more interesting. there's a lot of great stuff to do in this age - we should do it. http://michaelmholt.com/blog/the-internet-made-me-see-it/

to Michael Grandpa sounds like a cool dude Yeah I've been reading this just stuff that tends to get very religious and Persian at times

Life's interesting - check email below with a former analysts. Let me know if you find it interesting or send the Chess stuff to your grandfather

This is Coptic but mostly because it was 3- 7:30 AM when I first came up with it http://www.quora.com/Philosophy-of-Everyday-Life/How-would-you-go-about-telling-the-world-the-most-important-thing-for-it-to-know-but-you-have-to-then-become-the-implied-dictator-of-what-is-true-and-false-for-light-in-the-new-dimension

I had no idea that researching the history of chest would make me write something like that

I have only a very vague idea about the hexagrams and how it has to do with Chinese culture. I think the concept mostly from ancient China philosophy, and mainly from the book I Ching. From what I googled, this video gave a most clear intro of the concept (from 5'-13'): Learn About I Ching
