What study are you referencing? Both studies showed a statistically significant correlation between eating meat and colorectal cancer/heart disease and other chronic illnesses.

Ah then those weren't the ACTUAL studies that got "eating meat" put on the "certain it causes cancer" list. Correlation is not causation. The studies that actually got 'meat eating' classified involved actually studying the biochemical mechanisms (hint: it's the same ones that cause cancer risk from being around woodsmoke)
