Die-hard PC enthusiasts and users who are aggressively anti-Apple, why?

"Too expensive" I've heard this for decades now. I still build PCs for particular needs, but I also still buy Macs and Apple products for particular needs. I've got and given away old Apple products that are still in use that are over a decade old. They just keep on ticking, and they run very well for the operations they were originally purchased for. I've tracked my expenses on various hardware for years. By far, my investments in Apple systems have been LESS expensive. The upfront costs slightly more, sometimes, but through total cost of ownership over time, their lifespan, the costs are much lower.

That said, the systems of note are not for gaming, and generally no plans for upgrading component wise.
