The difference 2 years of practice makes.

dude... I have ADHD also!!! On top of that, I have a twin brother that has same problem. The condition is pretty drastic, we can talk about this, but I can summarize with full confidence that you have nothing to worry about. ADHD is a plus, not a negative attribute. Think of ADHD as driving a very fast car, with almost no brakes and lousy handling. Yes, you crash a lot, but you also can drive very fast and get to conclusion faster and on a deeper level. In my opinion, having ADHD is pretty awesome. All you have to do is to learn how to handle it properly. Also: do not at any cost take medication for it. Every medication is methamphetamine based (aka adderall) and will give you nothing in return other than short spike of focus (that you can condition yourself in with some practice). Also you lose sensitivity to vital components of said medicine, i.e. will be in need of bigger and bigger doses. Slippery slope my friend. All for what? Some relief? Every medication for ADHD is a myth created by pharma industry trying to convince that "you need help!". You don't.

Anyway - if you want a cheap dresser just craigslist it in "free" section, or if you don't like used/other people's stuff - you can find one pretty cheap on amazon (<$100). I bought this one for example. Worked great if you don't move it around your room too often.

As for animation - dude, to be honest... It might sound pretty far fetched/delusional, but I am pretty much convinced I am one of the best animators in the world at the moment. Me and my brother are working on a super secret project for about 18-20 months now, we are thinking of finishing it by the end of next summer; pretty sure become millionares after it's launch! I am really passionate about animation and would love to share some secrets with you once you get your tablet. Photoshop is obvious choice; you can rent it for like $15 a month, or ahem steal it, but I wouldn't recommend that ahem not really. Here is my setup I have (screenshot of my desktop atm).
