The difference two years makes... Fake Stories.

I posted about my mom on my old account and got so little response that I ended up deleting it entirely because it went so largely ignored. I try to make a point to go through new every so often now to give support, even when I can't give advice. More people wanna sit and give advice not knowing nearly enough about a situation to do so than want to give plain support to people that need it. Whenever I see comments TELLING someone what to do right off the bat it puts me right off, like they're treating the other person like a child. Except in cases where there's real danger, of course, and there's plenty of times that the advice is spot on. It's for the smaller less dramatic posts that the OPs get talked down to on and it rubs me the wrong way.
