Different campaigns, different experiences.

Queek is one of the easiest campaigns in the game, so long as you never let up on your aggression. First turn go right to the other orc base, start a second lord and get some units going. Second turn autoresolve the orc base, put second lord next to their last border and turn on raiding in your own territory. Third turn move queek to second lord and set to ambush after poking the second lord into orc territory with raiding still on, pump up queeks slaves stacks. Orcs will poke their nose out to smack the small stack, auto resolve the ambush you laid, usually they'll do this with their bigger stack so you can just march into their last settlement and autoresolve. Keep self raiding for food, if you keep up your aggression your fighting will be all the gold you beed. After the orcs slap the dwarves out of existence and claim the whole mountain range. From there if Khemri has already started to expand you go west, if they havent and its still the no name tomb kings next to ya go east and take out lizards and vamps undead.

Queek can easily paint the map red in about 100 turns if you never let up, self raiding will solve all food problems and will make sure you have a tier 4 or 5 settlement by as early as turn 10 sometimes, the moment you can jump over tech limitations solves all conqeusting problems, so long as its early enough, the AI will eventually catch up but by then you should be looking at half a continent as yours.
