Why is it so difficult to plan for the future?

Here's purpose: Save up the money to pay for one semester of foundation mathematics that is as early as you require for earliest physics course of that University's Physics major. If Physics Freshman (names have been changed) requires Math Basics II which requires Math Basics I, then you save up for and sign up for Math Basics I. Then start it. You will be 2.x or 3.x years older than your cohort. Your mission in life, your purpose of existence, will be to pass this one class, this one iteration of a process, this one reversible step into a frightening brave new world, this one huge sink of financial capital. A concern over "purpose in life" is a concern that needs to be snapped in half unceremoniously and tossed over the cliff at the end of the world, does not get a memorial, does not get a memory. An idea that you have no individual "purpose in life" is EXACTLY what the Watchtower loses sleep over at night if you are not constantly repeating it to yourself, in an undertone day and night.
