Quick question. I have experience both writing and shoutcasting the semi-pro scene in NA, even being one of the two winners of the Clutch Gaming Caster Competition last year. I do not play ranked because I feel I absorb more information from players who are actually good at the game (rather than the low elo my frankly terrible mechanical skill has left me at) through casting and writing. I cover the LCS and LEC for DailyEsports.GG and am the broadcasting manager for the Bloody Invitational Gaming League, the largest qualifier of the Scouting Grounds Circuit. Would the rank point still be a dealbreaker or would my supplemental experience be enough to make up for it in terms of being considered?
