Nah, I don't want to patent the spark of an idea that might lead to actually helping someone else's life get better. Not when I am 1. Neither creative nor engineer-y enough to make it actually good, nor 2. Capable of actually creating the product.

That being said if anyone out there with either of those things wants to run with my idea, I thought about it and I bet a good shape for this plate would be a long hexagon. Three contiguous sides would have the 90 degree angle, one long side and the two short sides on its right and left. This way you can line your foods up on the plate anticipating the use of that wall. You won't have to scoot your peas 6 inches across a round plate to get to it. And you'll also have less potential for peas falling off at the corners of your 90 degree angle.
