Disappointed in my PS4 Pro

Dunno, yeah I'm 'old' at 40-something. I run a design tech firm for the last 15 years, DJ in my spare time, and use complex software daily. (when I can remember to put on my pants)...

I stand by what I said:

RDR2 is just boring. I'm stuck into the story mode all the time. When I try to leave (between missions) my horse quickly dies in the snow (as do I). So I'm forced to go on a lot of missions that aren't cool. I just want to wander the landscape, explore and get into trouble on my own.

Each game has slightly different controls - trying to get my rifle of my horse is just about impossible. I end up punching the horse a few times. Aiming the rifle at the bad guys is equally tough. Switching through guns etc sucks. Maybe just need a LOT more practice.

Batman Lego - we both just jumped around like we were on X and meth... Solving the puzzles to move on to next level is about impossible. This is harder than Mensa test.

Hitman 2 - this is more my speed, still learning the controls, just too many frigging buttons. Run is L1 and left joystick - really? I can't get passed the training sections - but whatever, that's my issue. it's fun, engaging, but ultimately frustrating to keep repeating the same shit over and over again.

Last of Us - Love the darkness of this game, but the controls are tough, and trying to get out my weapon and actually shoot a zombie is not happening. Again - I'm stuck in their stupid story - I just want to wander zombie land and do as I please.

I guess I was spoiled by GTA - I never did the missions, I just ran rampant around the geo getting into trouble, exploring and that's what I found fun.

Some of you are right - the games I enjoy on iPad are worlds away from PS4 - Plants vs zombies 2, zombieland, and retro stuff.

Never found anything my GF and I can play, she's losing interest and already is like 'playing ps4 again?!'... because she's left out.

Just not into stories and puzzles - I'm antisocial by nature and just want to do my own thing.
