Disaster Capitalism: American billionaires have made an average of $42 billion a week throughout the pandemic

It's interesting to me, in the same week I read at Patrick Mahomes signing a $500m deal, I read about a minor league baseball player who makes $13k a year and thinks he will have to stop playing due to the pandemic. Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan are Billionaires. Look at Adam Sandler, George Clooney, Paul McCartney, Puffy, Jay Z, and Kanye. Actors and musicians worth hundreds of millions or billions. How much does an extra in a movie make? How about a soundman at a concert? No one would ever say a word criticizing all those names I just mentioned. Wealth inequality in things people like(sports and entertainment) is totally fine. It's celebrated. Wealth inequality in something more abstract(businesses/finance) is vilified. Why is that? Serious question why there is no consistency in people's opinions of wealth inequality.
