This is cute (I guess) but I hope this is it. Even if this is meant to be a one-shot it isn't executed well because nothing builds gradually; each page feels as if we are skipping weeks of constant interaction and if a one-shot couldn't convey anything beyond "Oh, I'm an earnest yokai who is ignorant to the human therefore I don't understand malice directed towards me". It has a tinge of darkness with the abusive relationship but as I said it feels so forced because it's only there to make us an audience can care for these two that we know nothing about. Emotional manipulation at it's worst. I'm legitimately hoping this "fluff" era of manga comes to an end soon because so many of them are executed poorly.
