Disciplinary Action: Dafran - Overwatch Contenders

It's what happens when you have a 23 year old that has only worked at McDonald's suddenly become internet famous and have a pretty big following and money thrown at him just for being good at aiming.

It happens a decent amount in "pop up" esports like overwatch is. Overwatch basically came out and the esports grew pretty fast, meaning most people didn't have to work for years to build a community and foster a relationship with the community and be humble because of it.

It's basically the problem of the "modern esports" era. Basically games being made to be esports have these type of people become famous due to it.

Compare it to esports like super smash bros melee. where you have this grassroots community that have grown and improved together. They've worked for what they have, so they feel greatful for it. The top players are basically just another player, and want to do everything they can to grow the scene even more and keep it alive for as long as possible. It's amazing the difference is between different esports scenes.
