Discussion: To All the Boys I've Loved Before [SPOILERS]

heard a lot of positive reviews so decided to give this movie a go

objectively speaking i think this movie was a 5/10. it had a refreshing direction and cinematography, very wes anderson vibes with vibrant colors and symmetries. plot wise, i thought that was it was alright, though it's hard to pull of a great plot for rom-com. i felt the characters were a bit unrealistic. seemed like they were all a bit too mature for being in 10th grade.

did think that the two male leads looked a bit too similar to each other. wish they had a bit of variety with the cast. i fully support the increase in minority representation in "hollywood" but i feel like the massive influx of positive reviews were those taken away by the cinematography, and that it was a positive step for asian representation.
