[Discussion] Is anyone else bothered by deceptive packaging like this?

I don't agree that is more efficient because they are two separate things that can/should run in parallel. You've come along and acted like people shouldn't do what I'm talking about and that's either you throwing out a red herring for the sake of being argumentative or you're just being wrong.

What I'm talking about should happen with or without corporations doing the right thing. Corporations being more ethical shouldn't have significant bearing on a consumer doing product research. Stop trying draw a relationship between the two because that is the most inefficient thing you could do. There is no real or reasonable argument for suggesting that consumers shouldn't consider quality, cost and quantity (if they are about best value shopping), and in order to do those things they need to look at stuff other than the packaging anyway.
