Discussion: Why Bernie should pick Kamala Harris as his running mate over Nina Turner

I think that Harris supports enough of his platform to get the big thing past, it's okay to have differences. There's a reason why I listed beating Trump as the top priority, and I think that a progressive/establishment ticket will do so much more to unite the party behind a progressive agenda than a polarizing progressive/progressive ticket.

Bernie is a politician, he knows that he won't be able to enact his full agenda no matter what. The goal is to pass as much as possible. IF we get Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and a fair taxation system, I'll be okay if he can't succeed at passing college for all. That could be moderated with a half measure like student loan forgiveness or community college for all. But those big first three issues are largely all or nothing.
