[Discussion] Fallout 4 Fears: Will it go the Direction Skyrim was Heading?

I am hoping Fallout 4 will be more like New Vegas where there are multiple ways to approach the main quest line per faction (which I would hope there would be more than one to follow). I don't want Fallout New Skyrim 4: Dawnbornfire. Following in the footsteps of New Vegas would be great for the story as there would be that replayability to experience all the different factions and whatnot instead of coming back mostly to see what kind of ridiculous mods I can install. Bring back the S.P.E.C.I.A.L.! I appreciated that system so much more than picking some static race at the beginning that had no real impact besides what Ulfric Stormcloak or General Tullius said if I wanted to join there armies or some buff. In New Vegas you could join the "good faction" and be a bad guy! You could be the most cutthroat merc on the road and still contribute to your desired cause. there was no real moral choices to make besides the cannibal quest line in Skyrim unless you want to be a dick and kill people just because "lel bad guy xDDD dark brohood says hi xDD".

I think following the commercial success of Skyrim they will just go down the same road. Have a dulled down RPG with an open world and a few shallow and rather uninteresting quest lines with characters that are hard care about but advertise a few selling points that makes people get hyped because it would be easy to make.

tl;dr What I want: A new fallout game with the style of New Vegas in which you have SPECIALs, similar level up style, and a new Vegas approach to the story which can end in drastically different ways. Gimme my wild Wasteland too ;)

What we are probably going to get: Skyfall Rimout 4. dulled down shallow game with the only appeal being an open world and "customization".
