[Discussion] I want to hear everyone's opinions on why SJWs are so keen on insulting everyone and everything.

It's a few things, I think you're off a little on the second point.

  1. Smug superiority in that they are more learned than everyone else (seriously, ask a SJW what they feel about choosing to live in rust belt states. No doubt that's why they lost in 2016). Whether it's gender studies or just listening to people whine on youtube you don't understand the issues at all if you disagree.

  2. Self-esteem is pretty much on the head. Less sense of identity as well, since they need to tie their identities to groups and participate in tribalism (ironically, Chomsky would have called them out). Insult that group, or even bring up hypocrisy of said group and they will defend it, take it as a personal insult and demand retribution. I think Republicans acted similar in 2000 and often do this a lot anyway.

2a. that's not to say that people in said group are all that way- just the ones who tie it to their identity and wear it as a shield for criticism. Most people you can be friends with, but I've noticed authoritarian behavior from plenty of SJW's.

  1. There's a lot of "everyone thinks the same way as I do". Like you could just educate someone and they would act the way you want them to. Anarchism is a good example because they believe without government, rules or law everyone will act nicely towards each other. But they won't because plenty are manipulative bastards. If you disagree with them, you just less educated, so they revert to smug. But if you respond back with logical arguments, they brand you as a bad guy and usually refuse to debate the issue. so

  2. My group is best and the bad ones are not predictive of the majority, but your group is bad so your bad people are predictive of the majority. Honestly saw this played out by both sides in 2016 so damn much. It's just hypocrisy in general.
