TW: gore

In middle school, my English teacher was crying inconsolably. She eventually told us that on the weekend, she decided to mow the lawn. She had a cat that like sleeping in small, warm spaces. When she started up her lawn mower, she didn’t know that her cat was hiding in it. It had sprayed bits and pieces all over her front lawn. She said she stood there in shock and horror, and eventually she understood what had happened, and just broke down sobbing and screaming in the front yard. Her neighbor saw her and helped pick everything up. Idk what they did after that, but we just sat quietly and read for the whole hour. I was like 12 when she told us this story, and I still remember it and shiver 12 years later.
