[Discussion] People who have moved from America to Europe/Canada, how do the prevalence of racism in these countries compare?

A) I'm from the US (Florida) and am Latino. Don't you dare try to mansplain systemic oppression when I've lived it, studied it to a post grad level, and work work marginalized communities in the north (which I'm pretty sure you neglect like the rest of the country).

B) I am not disagreeing with the fact that Canada has serious concerns when it comes to systemic oppression and racism. That's a fact. I never mentioned that it was a utopia. Socioeconomic indicators show that it's better to be a layman in Canada as it has better standards overall. That's not the same as saying "oh yea we're fine. No need to improve." Canada has a long way to go before patting itself on the back.

You ought to recognize that better does not equal utopia.Canada is generally more progressive than the US and Canadians tend to care more about social issues than Americans. That doesn't mean everyone is a leftist seeking equality. Get your shit together, bud.
