Demand being high isn't a good thing, we're already facing a doctor shortage as it is in a lot of the country. I don't think, as it is now, doctors have a lot of downtime they could be using to see more patients if only more of them had coverage. And M4A reimbursement rates are modeled on either Medicare or Medicaid, I can't remember which at the moment, but it's part of the way that M4A intends to save money compared to private insurance. However, that would represent a massive cut to reimbursement compared to private insurance rates that would mean doctors would need to be working more for less money.
