I'm up and down with that scene. First I think, "you sneaky bastard." Then she starts the whole over the top confession and it's second hand embarrassment, but wondering how he is keeping a straight face while she does all this. And not wanting to watch as she moves in. But then yeah, that was cruel, Adrien. Don't speak French, but what I could make out from the scene was Adrien saying she didn't mean it, and was messing around, and Marinette jumping on the excuse, but both of them knowing it wasn't just messing around.
